F.A.Q

WHAT IS A COMPETITIVE CLASS?

A competitive class will work every week towards the successful completion of a routine. This routine will be competed with at several local competitions near the end of the dance season (Winter-Spring). Students enrolled in these classes understand the level of commitment required to participate in a competitive class. Attendance is extremely important as well as a desire to perform on stage. Competitive students are responsible for all competition fees and must adhere to the policies and procedures of the studio for competitive students.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Competitive students pay a monthly fee as well as any additional studio & competitive fees required by their class. Fees may be paid on a monthly, semi-annual or annual basis in advance. All fees are due on the first weekend of each month. Late fees apply. There are no refunds for absences or cancellations with competitive classes. More details are available on each class page.

WHAT IS A DROP-IN CLASS?

3SB's non-competitive drop-in classes focus heavily on dance education. Class sizes are small and personal and this allows students to learn in a very trusting and fun environment. 3SB celebrates each individual student’s strengths while challenging their weaknesses. Positive reinforcement and patience are consistently practiced in an environment of high expectations. 3SB drop-in classes foster confidence and individuality in each of its students. The teachers are outstanding individuals devoted to the success of each student.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Drop-in classes provide the student with flexibility and simplicity. Classes are held weekly and focus on a different dance topic each class. Students may come and go from week to week, preferring to pay-as-you-go, or enroll for the entire session and pay a discounted lump sum.
